Privacy
Policy
This
policy statement was created to explain the firm commitment of The Perfectionist
Graphic Design & Computer Consulting Services ("The Perfectionist")
to our clients' and prospective clients' privacy. The following discloses
information-gathering and -dissemination policies for the web site located
at the domain www.theperfectionist.com ("Website").
Cookies & IP Addresses. The Website may use cookies (small
text files which reside on the user's computer hard drive) to save a password
and/or other information which might be used during an online session,
so that the user is only required to enter this information once during
any single session. This cookie can be temporary (deleted when the browser
is closed, which requires password/data entry for each session), or permanently
stored (for convenience), at the user's option. If the user elects to
store their password, care should be taken by the user to secure their
computer from unauthorized access.
The user's IP (network) address may be collected or captured at any time
during interaction with the Website without the user's knowledge. However,
this information is used only in the aggregate for reporting or tracking
purposes, and is never sold, traded, or otherwise transferred to any third
party without the user's knowledge.
Registration Information. A system of online registration may be
implemented in the future. The registration form would require users to
provide contact information (such as their name and email address). The
user's contact information would be used solely by The Perfectionist
to contact users when necessary. For example, The Perfectionist might
direct email to users who provide us with their email address for specifically-requested
purposes such as receiving e-mail newsletters or being notified of important
events or occurrences. Each email would always contain instructions on
how to unsubscribe.
The Perfectionist does not, and will never, sell, trade, or otherwise
transfer personally-identifiable information that visitors voluntarily
provide in any registration or submission, unless specifically stated
during the submission process.
Third-Party
Links.
The Website may provide links to various third-party websites. The Perfectionist
has no control over these linked sites, each of which have separate privacy
and data-collection practices independent of ThePerfectionist.com. The Perfectionist
has no responsibility or liability for these independent policies or actions,
and is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such
websites. These linked sites are only for our users' convenience and the
user therefore accesses those sites at their own risk. Nonetheless, The Perfectionist
seeks to protect the integrity of its website and the links placed upon
it, and therefore requests any feedback not only on its own site, but
on sites to which it links as well (including if a specific link does
not work).
Public Forums. The Website may make chat rooms, message boards,
forums, and/or newsgroups available to its users. Opinions expressed are
those of the users, and not necessarily those of The Perfectionist.
Please also remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas
becomes public information, and users should exercise caution when deciding
to disclose personal information.
Opt-Out Policy.
The Website always provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving
email from The Perfectionist during the registration process of any
opt-in program we might host, and to remove themselves from our email
database at any time so as not to receive future emails. Users may also
add to or modify information they have previously provided. For instructions
on doing so, users can send email to Client Support at support@theperfectionist.com.
Security.
The Website has security measures in place to protect against the loss,
misuse, and/or alteration of the information under our control. Most personally-identifiable
information is protected by a password, and is not available to the general
public. Every attempt is made to balance the usefulness of the site against
the privacy concerns of those whose personally-identifiable information
might appear on the site (e.g., in a testimonial or message board).
Users
are specifically prohibited from using the information on the Website
for any purposes other than those directly related to The Perfectionist
business. If a user has received communications from any party whom they
suspect obtained information through the Website or from The Perfectionist,
that user should report it to abuse@theperfectionist.com.
Contacting
The Perfectionist.
Any questions about this privacy policy, the practices of the Website,
or individual dealings with the Website should be directed to the webmaster
of ThePerfectionist.com by sending email to admin@theperfectionist.com.
